Covid-19 Face Mask Making

We continue to make and deliver masks. With the new Maryland mandate that requires children ages 2 and up to wear masks, our focus has expanded to also include masks for children.

Below are instructions for making face masks. Following the instructions are the specific requirements for children’s masks.

Important: Please make the front and back of your masks from different fabrics. This way the wearer will differentiate the outside of the mask, which is the side that gets contaminated.

Notes:
– It is helpful, but not necessary to include the wire shown in the video
– If you don’t have elastic, make four 18 inch-long ties and attach those.
