Lucy Boston (1892-1990) was a quilter and the author of the Green Knowe children’s books. Lucy’s patchwork collection is on display in her Manor House, Hemingford Grey, UK. Her best-known patchwork: The Patchwork of the Crosses, is still popular among quilters in the US today.  A quick search on Facebook or Pinterest yields current quilters utilizing Lucy’s patterns and kits.
