Art Bra Auction Guidelines

- Members constructing bras should follow these guidelines:
- Each artist must purchase a new bra, size 36C, padded, and underwired. This is all about support.
There are no parameters for theme or design. The more embellishments, different techniques and mediums used, the better. All bras must, however, be created in good taste. The show committee reserves the right to refuse to display any bra that it considers to be in poor taste.
The entire bra must be covered or embellished - front, back, sides, straps.
Do not use perishable items.
Make sure that all of your embellishments are attached well. Remember that we are going to auction these bras to new owners who will want to display them without fear that parts will fall off.
Leave the connecting mechanism intact and not sewn together so that the bra can be displayed on a form or mannequin.
Name your ArtBra and write a short paragraph it - what or who inspired you, your construction/materials, dedication, etc. and include this information with your registration. Clever names are most appreciated!
