Baltimore Heritage Quilters' Guild
Guild Activities
2007-2008 Charity Project
This year our charity project will be helping kids right in our own backyard. Recipients will be the approximately 96 residents of Villa Maria Residential Center in Timonium. These children don't have many possessions, and a quilt of their own would mean so much. Our goal is to gather 100 quilts and give each child a quilt.
Since there are only 25 girls - if you want to make a girl themed quilt please sign up with Marie or Becky Glasby. Otherwise a boy themed quilt will be greatly appreciated.
- Requirements:
- NO Baby Themes!!
- Quilt size - minimum size - 48 x 48 up to a Lap size 48 x 60
- Finished quilts would be appreciated and we will schedule a guild meeting next spring to finish quilts
We hope to schedule several quilting parties to piece and quilt for this project. Email Marie Glasby for details.
